About HoTPCA
The
HoTPCA (Heart of Texas Peace Corps Association)
is a group of about 150 returned Peace Corps volunteers,
friends, and
family
that live in the Austin area in Central Texas.
HoTPCA aims to promote world peace and friendship by:
- Engaging, uniting, and supporting the Peace Corps community in Central Texas
- Organizing and supporting activities that cultivate cultural understanding
- Supporting sustainable community-building projects both locally and overseas
We are a regional affiliate of the National
Peace Corps Association.
Our ongoing projects include a monthly volunteer
day, an annual contribution to an overseas project, and the bi-annual Mexico Service Project in Rio Bravo, Mexico.
