You’re invited! Join your fellow Texas returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) for a virtual screening of the first feature documentary to chronicle the remarkable history of the Peace Corps while considering its future at a critical juncture. This online event is brought to you by the Houston Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, HoTPCA, the North Texas Peace Corps Association, Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of San Antonio, Texas, and the Museum of the Peace Corps Experience.
“A Towering Task: The Story of the Peace Corps” can be watched online from Friday 6/26 at 6 PM through Saturday 6/27 via a special screening video link sent to all registrants. A live Zoom Q&A with the film’s director, Alana DeJoseph, will take place on Saturday 6/27 at 7:00 PM CST. This virtual event is free and open to the general public with donations reimbursing the screening fee and then all proceeds benefiting racial justice nonprofits in our cities.
